Internal Competitions

The Club runs a number of internal competitions during the year (usually 5), and these are open to all members. Four "open" and one special subject competitions are run, and there is a section for beginners (who hold no photographic distinction and have not previously won a photographic competition) in the "open" competitions.

These competitions are judged by invited judges and the scores go towards an internal league.

Unless otherwise stated PRINTS (colour and/or black & white), are all eligible for internal Club competitions. Entries are to be accompanied by the appropriate entry form and should be handed in on time. Unless otherwise agreed with the Competition Secretary, entries are limited to THREE images per class.

Closing dates for competition entries are shown below:

* COTY: Competition of the Year - any 2 pictures that have been submitted throughout the competition year UNALTERED

Important Note : Would entrants please give their digital entries on CD, not memory sticks. This is to minimise security risks associated with memory sticks.
